Highlights of the College

 The institution provides ample opportunities for conducting research to students and staff. College has a rich library equipped with internet facility to help research scholars. The college faculty is competent to guide survey, project and dissertation work for PGDCA(T.E), B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil. and Ph.D Students.

The institute puts great efforts to place the students in jobs according to their qualifications and abilities. Teams from various educational institutions are invited time to time for campus placement. The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college informs the vacancies of various posts in schools/college, in and around the city to students time to time .Extension lectures and seminars are arranged time to time in the institution to acquaint students with various career options. The institution is proud to have placement of its students in renowned institutions.

 Alumnae Meet is a regular feature of the institution to give a platform to old students of the college to come and share their views and give suggestions for further improvement of the college. Various executive members are selected from the Alumnae for their participation in better functioning of the college.

 To hunt talent among students, Talent Finding Literary and Cultural functions are organised in the beginning of the session in which literary activities – poem recitation, declamation, debates etc. and cultural acitvities like dance, bhajans/shabad, geet/ghazals, gidda and art acitivities like rangoli, flower arrangemets (fresh or dry), poster making etc. are organised. Students participate in great numbers in these activities .

 Students of the college participate in G.N.D.U Youth Festival and Inter-College Competitions every year and always bag top positions in various events.

 To give exposure to latest developments in academics, extension lectures/seminars/conferences/ workshops are organized from time to time in the college. Distinguished educationists, social workers are invited to deliver lectures on the current issues. Students and faculty members get acquainted with the latest issues and Current trends.

 The institute provides opportunities for all round development of the personality of the students. For this various curricular & co-curricular activities are organized time to time in the institute. Every student is given an opportunity to come forward and participate in these activities.For organising various literary & cultural activities, all the students of the institution are divided into different houses & clubs. Various houses of the college are: Saraswati House, Sarojini House, Durga House, Mother Teresa House,Laxmi Bai House, Kalpana Chawla House, Montassorie House and Tagore House. Various clubs of the college are: Health club, Moral Education, Community Development & Population club, Science and Environment club, Human Rights, Legal Literacy and Women Empowerment club and Consumer Awareness club.

College has one NSS unit of almost hundred students volunteer. It organizes camps inside and outside the campus .Many awareness programmes – free medical checkup , participation in Pulse Polio and Extension Lectures etc. are also organised by NSS unit from time to time as a service to society.

College faculty and students participate in Jan Chetna/Shobha Yatra time to time to sensitize the people about current and social issues.
